There are many worthy organizations helping the recent Hurricane Katrina victims. One such organization is Service International, located in Chesterfield Valley. This organization is an arm of St. Louis Family Church and got 'on the job training' during the flood of 1993. One of Service International's goals is to help people in crisis. They are currently working in Kosovo, in the tsunami ravaged areas of Sri Lanka, as well as with local feeding programs here in St. Louis. Service International is sending supplies, aiding victims, cleaning up the flood ravaged areas and helping rebuild homes and lives. They will sponsor organized relief trips for many months to come. To obtain more information, volunteer, donate items or to send contributions call Service International at 636-532-9008. You may also visit their web site at www.serviceinternational.org
